Jim McDaniel, ABR, GRI, RRS, RSPS, SFR, SRES is your full time Realtor. Jim has been an investor in Destin since 1988, having fallen in love with the area during frequent visits to The Beach. In 1999, he obtained his Florida Realtor’s license and he and Sherry moved to Destin in 2000.

Jim began his real estates sales career with Dale E Peterson Realty at the Blue Mountain Beach office. In March 2001, he joined Newman-Dailey Resort Properties and enjoyed a rewarding career. He was their top sales agent from 2003-2006 and for the past 7 years has been ranked in the top 8% in sales of over 2400 realtors in his local association. Jim joined REMAX Paradise Properties in October 2009, located next door to his former office in the Fountain Plaza Office Complex.

Jim and Sherry are very active in their homeowner associations. Since 1993, either Sherry or Jim has been on a homeowner board or as a president. In addition, both have served on many committees and are also active with the Community Association Presidents of the Emerald Coast (CAPEC).

Jim is very active with the YMCA movement having served on a board since 1983. Since moving to Destin, he has also served as 2004 Destin Board Chairman, Emerald Coast Corporate Board, and serving his 12th year as a member of the YMCA of the USA Region II Committee on Membership Standards. He was the 2004 Mattie M Kelley YMCA Volunteer of the year. In addition, he has been a member of the Destin Chamber of Commerce since 1996.

Jim is committed to providing you the finest service possible. He has years of experience in buying and selling as well as taking advantage of the IRC 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange program. He and Sherry began managing property in 1992 and have introduced many families to the rental/investment market. Whether is it gulf front, gulf view, gulf access, or just near the water, Jim has the expertise to assist you. His goal is to provide clients with as much information possible so when the decision to buy or sell is finalized, they will have a VERY PLEASANT and INFORMED experience. As a Realtor, he is a member of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He and Sherry began managing their rental property in 1992 and were the Pioneers of Pet Friendly rentals in Destin. They have introduced many families to the rental/investment market.
