Jim McDaniel, ABR, GRI, RRS, RSPS, SRES is your full time Realtor® and Lead Agent with The McDaniel Team. Jim has been an investor in Destin since 1988, having fallen in love with the area during frequent visits to the beaches. In 1999 he obtained his Florida Realtor's license and he and Sherry moved to Destin in 2000.

Since joining Newman-Dailey Resort Properties, Inc in 2001, Jim has consistently been a winner. He was runner up in sales production in 2002, and was Top Sales Agent in 2003, 2004, 2005 and again in 2006. Each of the last four years, Jim has been in the top 4% of sales of over 2000 realtors in the local association. Jim credits his success to his large data base of satisfied clients and referrals. His work ethic and reputation is very important to him.

Jim is very active in the YMCA. He has been a board member since 1983, and since moving to Destin, has been active with the local Destin Family YMCA. He is currently on the board of management for the Destin Y, corporate board of the YMCA of the Florida's Emerald Coast, and serving his 8th year on the YMCA of the USA Region II Committee on Membership Standards. In addition, he has been a member of the Destin Chamber of Commerce for 10 years.

Becki Downs has also been an investor in Destin since 1997 after she and her family vacationed and fell in love with the Destin area. As a result of her love for the sugar white beaches and emerald waters, she and her family relocated to Destin in January 2006. Becki joined Jim McDaniel as an administrative assistant, obtained her real estate license, and became a Realtor® in June of 2006. As a member of The McDaniel Team, Becki specializes in investment property and secondary homes. Becki and husband Jim are also condo owners and love the Beaches of South Walton.
